Concrete and Paver Solutions for Residential and Commercial Properties in Tampa Bay
Pathways and Driveways
A driveway or pathway is one of the first things people see when they approach your property. It handles daily vehicle loads, foot traffic, and Florida's heat and rainfall season after season. Getting it right from the start matters.
Perkins Concrete Inc. has been installing driveways and pathways across the Tampa Bay area since 1989. Still today, the company continues with the same licensed crew, the same workmanship standards, and the same commitment that built a reputation across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco Counties. We serve homeowners, businesses, and contractors throughout the region.

What We Install
Whether you're upgrading a driveway, installing a new pathway, or repairing a pooling walkway, Perkins Concrete handles every phase: planning, installation, and finishing. Serving Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties.

Concrete Driveways
Concrete is the most durable surface for Florida driveways. It handles vehicle weight, resists moisture, and holds up in heat without softening the way asphalt can. We install concrete driveways built for long-term performance, with proper sub-base preparation, reinforcement, and grading to direct water away from your structure.
Options include plain concrete, colored concrete, exposed aggregate, textured and broom finishes, and decorative borders or score lines.

Paver Pathways
Paver pathways work well when the goal is design continuity across an outdoor space. If your property already has paver hardscape, or if you want the texture and color options pavers provide, we can design a pathway that integrates with the rest of the surface.

Concrete Pathways & Walkways
Walkways affect how safely and easily people move through a property. We design and install pathways for residential and commercial properties, accounting for foot traffic volume, slope, drainage, and ADA accessibility requirements where applicable. Common applications include front entry walkways, side and backyard paths, commercial pedestrian routes, ADA-compliant accessible paths, and connecting paths between structures.

Paver Driveways
Interlocking pavers offer design flexibility and a practical advantage: individual units can be lifted and reset, which means future utility access or targeted repairs don't require demolishing the entire surface. We install concrete interlocking pavers, brick pavers, permeable paver systems, and custom patterns and borders.

The Perkins Concrete Difference
What Sets a Good Installation Apart
In Florida, drainage and sub-base preparation are the two factors that most determine how long a driveway or pathway holds up. Soil conditions in the Tampa Bay area shift with moisture, and surfaces that aren't properly graded direct water toward foundations rather than away from them.
Every Perkins Concrete installation starts with a site evaluation. We assess soil stability, existing drainage patterns, and grade before any material goes down. That process doesn't change based on the size of the job.
You work directly with the owners throughout your project. One point of contact, consistent communication, and a single point of accountability from estimate to final walkthrough.

Common Questions
Most residential driveways take 3 to 5 days from site prep through pour, plus curing time. We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before foot traffic and 7 full days before vehicle use. You'll get a specific timeline during your free estimate.
Both perform well when installed correctly. Concrete is typically lower in upfront cost and requires less ongoing maintenance. Pavers cost more initially but allow for targeted repairs, can improve drainage in certain configurations, and offer more design options. We can walk you through the trade-offs for your specific property.
Yes. We work with homeowners, commercial property owners, and contractors. Residential estimates within 36 hours, commercial and contractor estimates within 10 days.
Routine sweeping and periodic rinsing handle most of it. Seal every 2 to 3 years to protect against staining and moisture. Address cracks early before they spread. We provide maintenance guidance at project completion.

Why Perkins
What Sets Us Apart
Perkins Concrete has been family-owned and operated in the Tampa Bay area since 1989. When you hire us, you work directly with the owners — not a project manager, not a crew foreman. Warren Perkins put his name on this company on day one because the work was supposed to mean something. Forty-seven years and more than 12,000 projects later, that hasn't changed.
We're a veteran owned licensed contractor (License #CPC1457580) and we back every job with a workmanship warranty. Free in-person estimates are available within 36 hours for residential projects and within 10 business days for commercial work.
